Choosing a theme

Blogger provides a number of 'themes' these are page layouts for your blog pages. You can change the theme at any time by visiting the theme menu and selecting from the list. You can browse the themes from the blog menu... In this blog the theme is already customised with colours and pictures. When you first see it the theme will be very plain. I will deal with customisation on another post. The preview shows how the current theme will look on desktop and mobile devices. Themes control the layout . Mainly of the front page. Choose the layout and you prefer. Ignore the pictures and colours for the moment. We will be changing them when we customise the theme. Setting up blogger

First you must create an account . All you need to do this is an email address. It is best to have a gmail address because this gives you access to all of your google photos and documents. When you have an account you can create a blog The information you need to create a blog is: Blog Name This is the name people will see so make it appropriate to what you are posting. It can be multiple words Examples Anca's Food Blog How to use blogger My pets etc Blog address This is what you see in the address bar

Changing your blog name.

If you decide you need another name for your blog you can change it in Settings | Basic screen. Go to your blogger home Select the blog you want to change Open Settings on the left Choose Basic (this should be the default anyway) Click the edit button on Title Make the changes you want Click save changes The changes will not appear on your home page until you refresh it Video:
